ORIGIN
Foodin coconut manna is made using only fresh coconut meat, which has been grown in a sustainable way, respecting nature and people. Foodin coconuts are grown in a forest culture that takes into account the well-being of the environment and preserves biodiversity. Coconuts are collected by climbing to the tops of trees or using long sticks with a knife at the end to break the branches. The nuts are peeled and washed, after which they are pressed within two hours. This ensures the freshest and crispest taste in all our coconut products.
Manna means different things in different cultures, but it always refers to some supernatural power. The history of coconut use stretches back a long way in Asian cuisines from Kerala to Sri Lanka, and the coconut tree has often been called the tree of abundance. However, the background to our coconut manna is not the gods, but a stone mill that gently grinds fresh coconut shavings into a velvety coconut puree over two days. So coconut manna is practically a nut paste made from coconut at a low temperature, the possibilities of which extend to the entire taste palette.
Store coconut semolina protected from sunlight.
Organic, vegan, preservative and additive free.
Packaged in a factory that processes nuts (cashew, brazil, pecan, macadamia, hazelnut and walnut), almonds, sesame seeds, milk protein and gluten-free oats.
