FOODIN’S MCT OIL IS 100% FROM SUSTAINABLY PRODUCED COCONUT
MCT Oil, or medium chain triglyceride, is the combination of caprylic and capric acids, and is popular among athletes. MCT Oil provides additional energy and functions as a booster when required. Concentrated entirely from coconuts, the fats in MCT oil absorb better on average than other fats.
This flavourless, odourless oil is great for bulletproof coffees, or mixed into smoothies to give an energy boost before physical performance. It can also be used in cooking, but temperatures above 160 degrees Celsius should be avoided to ensure that chemical composition of the oil remains unaltered. The daily portion size for MCT oil is approximately 1–3 tablespoons per day.
MT Oil is made by extracting the caprylic and capric acids from coconut oil. Its properties have made the oil popular among athletes, but it is also suitable for the ketogenic diet and elderly people who require a little extra energy from fats.
