THE NO ADDED SUGAR VERSION OF HERKKUISA HAS BEEN SWEETENED WITH ERYTHRITOL
The no added sugar version of our hazelnut chocolate spread Herkkuisa is a mouth-watering treat, and suitable for when you want to decrease the amount of carbohydrates in your diet! This Herkkuisa includes added collagen, which brings just the right, velvety texture to the spread and increases its protein content. No sugar has been added to the product, and it contains 3.5 g / 100 g of natural sugar. The spread is sweetened with erythritol, which does not contain energy and does not raise blood sugar levels.
The no added sugar Herkkuisa spread is a perfect addition to any breakfast table. Spread Herkkuisa on top of toast or rice cakes on a slow weekend morning, and enjoy the nutty, chocolatey, full-bodied flavour together with a cup of organic coffee. Some may even add a spoonful of Herkkuisa on muesli or porridge, or dip in some fresh fruit and berries.
Possibilities in baking are close to endless, and the nutty chocolate spread works well in both sweet and creamy and fresh and fruity desserts. With Herkkuisa, you can decorate cakes, bakes, cookies and pies, and spread it on as icing for caramelised apples and roasted pears.
Herkkuisa´s versatility doesn’t end there. Add it to your favourite smoothie, as a finishing touch on top of ice cream dishes, or on top of salt crackers for that lovely salty-sweet contrast!
